Useful distance
depends on the need to be noticed, area covered and the speed of the traffic. Bigger is always better.
As a guide, some say 800mm would be up to 25 metres, but this is the sum of the distance of the observer to the mirror and the observed to the mirror
But a more realistic expectation would be 10 metres for a clear view of objects in the mirror
Useful on forklift intersections or where there are corners of pedestrian/forklift interaction
or use as a security mirror on the blind corners, the 800mm corner mirror could be better for this task
